Welcome to Church Media Share ("CMS," "we," "us," or "our"). Church Media Share is an online resource and media library providing creative assets for churches, Christian organizations, and individuals involved in ministry and faith-based work.
By accessing, downloading, or using any content from this website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Definitions
- "Assets" refers to all downloadable or accessible content on Church Media Share, including but not limited to graphics, templates, illustrations, videos, motion graphics, slide designs, social media content, and other creative resources.
- "User" refers to any individual or organization accessing the Site.
- "Nonprofit Organization" refers to a church or Christian organization legally registered as a nonprofit under applicable laws (e.g., 501(c)(3) in the United States or equivalent).
- "Personal Use" refers to non-commercial, non-redistributive use by an individual.
2. License Overview
Church Media Share grants limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licenses to use Assets based on the User's status.
A. License for Verified Nonprofit Organizations
Churches and Christian organizations that provide valid proof of nonprofit registration are granted a Full Ministry Use License, which allows them to:
✔ Use Assets for:
- Church services and events
- Sermon slides and teaching materials
- Church websites and apps
- Social media and email communications
- Printed materials (flyers, banners, posters, bulletins)
- Livestreams and recorded services
✔ Modify or adapt Assets to suit their ministry needs
Restrictions:
- Assets may not be resold, sublicensed, shared, redistributed, or made available as standalone files.
- Assets may not be uploaded to other asset libraries, template marketplaces, or shared drives intended for public or third-party use.
- Assets may not be claimed as original work.
B. License for Individuals (Personal Use License)
Individuals who are not acting on behalf of a verified nonprofit organization are granted a Personal Use License, which allows them to:
✔ Use Assets for:
- Personal projects
- Volunteer work
- Non-commercial ministry-related activities
✔ Modify Assets for personal use
Restrictions:
- Assets may not be used for commercial resale or client work.
- Assets may not be redistributed, shared, or uploaded to other platforms.
- Assets may not be used to create derivative products for sale or free distribution.
Attribution: Attribution is not required, but is always appreciated where reasonable (e.g., "Design assets by Church Media Share").
3. Redistribution & Sharing Policy (Very Important)
All Assets provided by Church Media Share are licensed, not sold.
You may NOT:
- Share Assets with others outside your organization
- Upload Assets to Google Drives, Dropbox folders, or shared libraries for third-party access
- Repackage Assets as templates, themes, or design kits
- Offer Assets as free downloads or paid products
- Use Assets in any way that competes with Church Media Share
If multiple people within a church require access, they must access the Assets directly through Church Media Share.
4. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All Assets remain the intellectual property of Church Media Share or its contributing designers.
Downloading an Asset does not transfer ownership or copyright.
You may not:
- Remove watermarks, copyright notices, or embedded metadata (where applicable)
- Register Assets or derivative works as trademarks or copyrighted works
5. Contributor Content
Some Assets may be contributed by independent designers.
- Church Media Share ensures contributors grant us the right to distribute their work.
- Contributors retain ownership of their original creations.
- CMS acts as a licensing platform, not a transfer of ownership.
6. Prohibited Uses
Assets may not be used in connection with:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or unlawful activity
- Content that misrepresents Christian doctrine in a deliberately deceptive manner
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, or immoral material
- Political campaigning unrelated to church ministry
We reserve the right to revoke access for violations.
7. Verification of Nonprofit Status
Church Media Share may request documentation to verify nonprofit status, including:
- Government-issued nonprofit registration
- Church incorporation documents
- Official church website or public records
Failure to provide verification may result in reclassification to an individual license.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access to the Site
- Revoke licenses for misuse of Assets
- Take appropriate legal action for violations
Upon termination, all rights to use Assets must cease.
9. Disclaimer
All Assets are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Church Media Share does not guarantee that Assets will meet specific technical, theological, or ministry requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Church Media Share shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or ministry opportunities
- Misuse of Assets by Users
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
